Big Something
A 6 piece powerhouse with a sound that is both unique and timeless, BIG Something fuses elements of rock, pop, funk, and improvisation to take listeners on a journey through a myriad of musical styles. It's no secret why this group has quickly become one of the most exciting new bands to emerge from the Southeast. Soaring guitars, synths, horns and alluring vocal hooks rise to the top of their infectious collection of songs and represent a sound that has caught the ears of such revered Summer circuit stalwarts as Galactic, moe., Robert Randolph, and even The B52s who have all tapped Big Something as direct support.

This February the group will drop their 4th full-length studio album, Tumbleweed, which was recorded once again with the help of grammy nominated producer John Custer (Corrosion of Conformity). He has produced all of their albums including Truth Serum, which was named 2014 Album of the Year by The Homegrown Music Network, making Big Something the only band ever to win this award 3 times with 3 different releases (2010, 2013, and 2014).
Formed in the summer of 2015, Kaleid first began their adventure through basement jamming in the house of drummer Will Young and bassist Kevin Dimmitt near CU Denver. The few months before, Will and Kevin slowly wrangled the band members together with the help of the internet and the thriving Denver music scene. From this time until their first show in the summer of 2016 they referred to themselves as the Audio Johnsons.

Now Kaleid, the band is on a “kalision” course with a lifelong career of music. Their entrance into the Denver music scene has been swift and hastily validated through a number of shows (cleverly termed Kalisions) at blossoming local venues in the Denver area, such as Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom's Other Side, The Lazy Dog (Boulder), Your Mom's House (formerly Pearl's), Tony P’s (17th St.), and Herman’s Hideaway. With quick observation, it is noticeable Kaleid is embracing their musical future to the fullest. They want to be heard, and rightfully so.

Each member brings a unique flair and set of influences to the table. From rock to funk, disco to electronica, bluegrass to soul, hip-hop to trance, classical to metal, it all emanates from group’s 6 contributors.
