Giant FEMA Robo Vacuums to the Rescue; A Possible Future of Disaster Clean-up

Author: Lance Winslow

After reviewing all the case study analysis for the Gulf Shore area after Mega Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, as well as the damage in Cancun and Cozumel with Hurricane Wilma one has to ask; what can we do to help us clean-up this mess? Well one online think tank has considered this recently.

Swift from Las Vegas an online think tank member has been studying robotic vacuum systems and noted; One system has sensors sampling at a rate of 40 times a second to position the machine. Drive motors propel each wheel independently and bumper sensors reverse the mower on impact. A liftoff detector prevents a runaway or overturned mower. A perimeter wire outlines the area each machine works.

Well it could work indeed use GPS way-points for boundaries or sensor strips on between buildings and let a couple of SUV size giant FEMA Robotic Vacuums do the dirty work. We have the technology and having been in the pressure washing business myself; ConcreteWashGuys.com it seems to me with giant hydro-twisters underneath and a reclaim tank like a street sweeper all this is possible and more? And last time I checked these Hurricane Seasons were not getting any mellower were they? Consider all this in 2006.
