Sony Ericsson K750i: A Phone with Impressive Features

The Sony Ericsson K750i is very similar to the newer Sony Ericsson W800i Walkman and the key features include an in-built modem, Infra Red, Bluetooth, MP3, MP4 and video file playback capabilities, FM Radio; the list is even more impressive considering its diminutive size.

With 170 x 200 pixels in size, a colour depth of 262,144 colours, the K750i represents an excellent all round package. It is capable of working for up to 400 hours in the standby mode and up to 9 hours of talks. The Sony Ericsson K750i snaps stills at a resolution of 2 Megapixels with good white balance. The implementation of auto focus and macro focus deserves praise for its good performance and relatively short response times. The imaging phone features a 2 mega pixel camera with auto focus. Create high quality photos and videos before sending to friends and family with Quick Share technology. There is enough space to store photos and videos with 38mb of internal memory and a Memory Stick PRO Duo. The new Fast Port connector lets you achieve faster PC synchronisation and enhanced connectivity with accessories. The phone has quick menu navigation, calendar, address book for 500 names and organizer. It also allows a new feature for mobile phones, MP3-files playback and supports play-lists.

A striking feature of the K750i is the FM radio with RDS (radio data system) support. The media player is also impressive and supports playlists as well as repeat and shuffle functions and an equaliser option. The keypad is comfortable to use and smooth to touch. In terms of navigation, the Sony Ericsson K750i offers a rather small yet ergonomically sound 5-way joystick, accompanied by the four action buttons typical of current handsets.

For connectivity, it offers bluetooth, infrared and USB 1.1 connectivity. Call quality on the K750i is excellent and the battery life is also good, with approximately 6 hours of talk time and nine days of standby time during testing.
