Nokia N73: With Superb Imaging Capabilities

Author: Keith Rickwood

The Nokia N73 is another unveiled beauty in the high end N series of mobile phones. Considering the number of features that the Nokia N73 supports, the phone is more of a multimedia computer than anything else. The Nokia N73 boasts a large 2.4 inch display, along with a 3.2 megapixel camera (featuring Carl Zeiss optics) with autofocus and integrated stereo speakers with 3D sound for optimized audio pleasure. The phone also shares the Carl Zeiss optics that seems to feature on a number of Nokia smart phones.

The Nokia N73 is available in three beautifully designed color combinations: silver grey/deep plum, frost white/mocha brown and frost white/metallic red. The maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels allows you to get great prints up to 10" x 8" in size. The active toolbar interface allows one-touch selection to share photos via e-mail, Bluetooth or MMS. The phone is equipped with stereo speakers, dedicated controls for zoom, review and capture. Keep your image collection organized on the PC with the Nokia XpressTransfer.

Other great features on this phone are EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, 240 x 320 QVGA display, miniSD card slot, full PIM applications with easy syncing to Outlook (and the Mac with little trouble), MS Office document viewers, MP3 player, FM radio, stereo output, email client and a full HTML web browser. With a mechanical shutter and advanced auto focus, the N73 has a much better picture taking ability. The phone has a candy bar design and an absolutely standard keypad. With a more intelligent and intuitive photo gallery, organizing and sharing your favorite photos is fun and simple. Battery life is quite decent with 7 days of standby and 3 hours of talktime.

The Nokia N73 is available in amazing deals on Nokia contract phones through the online mobile phone shops.
