I am as passionate about handbags as I am about shoes. I don't know what it is with accessories but I just can't seem to get enough of them. I'm not alone, most women will admit to having a weakness for shoes and bags.

Although you can spend a small [or large!] fortune on a handbag, you don't have to. Compared to clothing or shoes, handbags can be relatively inexpensive. This means that you can pretty much choose a selection of handbags to work with all the clothes you wear.

Handbag charms are also a great way of adding a little something different to each of your handbags and they are also very fashionable at the moment.

A handbag can really add something to your outfit so choose a few in different materials, sizes, colours and styles.

I am not sure where the idea of an everyday bag came from but it should be dispelled for all eternity. What's an everyday bag anyway? It takes you under five minutes to transfer the contents of one bag to another and it will give you that 'new bag' feeling every day!

Try to choose just one neutral coloured handbag. I think every woman would admit to always going for neutral colours when it comes to bags because it's a safe choice. It works with whatever you are wearing and it makes your life easier .... Right?

Well, here's a thought. If you carefully chose half a dozen handbags that worked with lots of other colours you could easily mix and match them with whatever you choose to wear.

Handbags are accessories, just like your shoes. Most women don't wear the same pair of shoes everyday and similarly changing your handbag works on the same principles.

Get it right and you'll create yourself a whole new wardrobe just by adding a few different handbags and perhaps a couple of charms here and there.
