Halleway is the Denver Folk Rock project that consist of Patrick Armould (Lead Vocals), Jake Patterson (keyboard), Riley O’donnel (Drums), Alex Jackson (Bass), and Dallon Robinette (Lead Guitar). Over the past year of becoming a band Halleway has surrounded themselves on strong live performances while staying rooted in the studio. November of 2017 was the release of their debut single “New Prayer”. The song generated great success for the group and by the time they were headlining local shows in February people were already singing along to the only song Halleway had put out. Mid August marked the release of their second single “Found” in which they recorded with former Judds and Willie Nelson producer Brent Maher. “Found” will not be the only music released for Halleway in 2018. The band is getting prepared to release their debut record later this year. In the meantime Halleway will continue to headline local shows and support nationally acclaimed acts. With the second half of 2018 approaching Halleway will be an emerging act to keep an eye out for.
Twenty-five year old Andy Sydow already has a lot to talk about in his young music career. He has become widely respected in the local Colorado scene for his richly detailed songwriting, blistering slide guitar playing and surprising boogie-woogie piano chops. He has opened for luminaries Tab Benoit, Delbert McClinton, Dick Dale, Samantha Fish, Dave and Tommy Malone, Chris Duarte, Tinsley Ellis, Bob Margolin, and Johnny Hickman (of Cracker). He has also toured nationally with his band and played at festivals including Jazz Aspen Snowmass and Snowy Range Music Festival. He has been nominated several times for Colorado Blues Society Members Choice Awards for his songwriting and piano playing.
Sydow received his Bachelors of Science in Piano Performance from the University of Colorado at Denver in 2013. Upon graduation, he began playing at a dueling piano bar in downtown Denver as well as playing residencies in Cherry Creek and Aurora. At the end of 2013 he began teaching private lessons and group ensembles at Castle Rock Music. Going into 2017, Sydow has a full tour schedule with his band. He can also be seen several times a month playing solo piano at the Summit Steakhouse in Aurora. His newest release, A Little Messed Up came out on October 22, 2016.
Larimer Lights is a soul-pop band based out of Denver, Colorado.
