2006 Audi Q7 3.2L V6 Review

Author: www.autocarreview.com

Expected later in 2006 Audi Q7 3.2 V8 is based closely on the Pikes Peak quattro concept and shares the platform with the SUVs from Volkswagen Touareg and

Porsche Cayenne. However, Q7 is larger and has an almost 6-inches longer wheelbase that gives it a leaner and much more athletic look.

The car is very well proportioned and an overall appearance gives the impression of a large A6 Avant; a high shoulder line with the narrow window area, an

angled rear window, the same shape taillights. Audi readily admits that Audi Q7 3.2 is not a true SUV and designed more for on-road use, the evidence of

which are double-spoke 20-inch wheels.

The quattro system is the same torsen based found on most of Audi models. The interior of the 2006 Audi Q7 3.2 V8 is very similar to that of the A6 but seems

a little less cluttered with more surface area, even despite some additional controls. Being in the drivers seat feels more like sitting in a car than an

SUV. Second-row seats provide the rear passengers plenty of headroom and legroom as well as a brilliant view.

As with most vehicles of this class third-raw seating is optional and there is just enough room for children. This Q7 will offers 3.2-liter V6 engine that

delivers 310 horsepower and 302 lb-ft of torque with the shifting duties handled by a standard Tiptronic six-speed automatic.
